Join our volunteering program at Niñas de Luz Foundation. Corporate or Individually
At Fundación Niñas de Luz, volunteers contribute their time, knowledge, and professional experience to strengthen our educational and cultural processes.
We offer different volunteer modalities that allow active participation and being part of the growth and lives of our girls.
Our volunteer program promotes:
- Knowledge exchange.

- Ethical and responsible participation.
- Safe environments for girls and adolescents.
Individual Volunteer Opportunities
At Niñas de Luz Foundation, we offer these two options for individual volunteering:
Contribute to the efficient operation of our organization by supporting administrative tasks and planning activities, and events. If you have skills in accounting, training development, educational planning, and IT management, your participation will be encouraged.
Minimum commitment time: 6 months.
Take the initiative to design and lead interactive workshops (virtual and in-person) that motivate our girls to learning and growing. If you are a creative person who is passionate about teaching, your impact will be immediate and highly valued throughout our community. Our schools are:
- Politics School
- English School
- Reading Club
- Menstruation Education School with a rights-based approach.
General Requirements:
- Must be of legal age.
- Currently enrolled in or have completed a professional career.
- Must be associated within the foundation for a minimum period of 6 months.
- Availability to conduct workshops on Saturdays between a time slot starting from 07:30 am to sync with the volunteering team and then continue in the assigned 45 to 60 minutes classes from 08:00am, 09:00am,10:00am and/or 11:00am, according to the school you decide to choose.
- Possibility to directly visit the girls of the Foundation once a month or for ad hoc events.
Volunteer Recruitment Opening Dates:
- First Call: From December 15th to January 15th.
- Second Call: From June 15th to July 15th.

Group Volunteering
At Niñas de Luz Foundation, we offer these two options for groups volunteering:
We invite companies to collaborate with us through donations of school supplies, talks and training sessions, as well as executing collaborative projects that directly benefit our girls.
If your company, group of friends, or family want to carry out a specific volunteering activity, we have options such as donating groceries, specific days of recreation, sponsoring girls during Christmas, among others.
